Security Officers

 

Our client is searching for Security Officers who will be responsible for protecting people, property, and assets by maintaining a visible security presence, monitoring activity, and responding to incidents in line with company procedures and UK legislation. Officers must act professionally at all times and comply with SIA standards.


1. Security Officer – Static Security

Multiple Locations

Office buildings, retail sites, construction sites, warehouses, hospitals, events or residential developments

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter crime and anti-social behaviour

  • Control access and egress of staff, visitors, and contractors

  • Conduct ID checks, bag searches, and visitor sign-in procedures

  • Monitor CCTV systems and report suspicious activity

  • Carry out regular patrols of the premises

  • Respond to incidents such as theft, vandalism, fire alarms, or emergencies

  • Complete incident reports and daily logs accurately

  • Liaise with emergency services when required

  • Enforce site rules, health & safety, and company policies

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor Licence (essential)

  • Right to work in the UK

  • Enhanced or standard DBS check (site dependent)

  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and bank holidays

2. Security Officer – Mobile / Patrol Security

Location

Multiple sites (mobile role)

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct mobile patrols across multiple locations

  • Lock/unlock premises and check for security breaches

  • Respond to alarm activations and call-outs

  • Report hazards, damage, or suspicious activity

  • Complete patrol reports using digital systems

  • Ensure vehicles and equipment are used responsibly

  • Provide emergency response and support when required

Requirements

  • Valid SIA Licence

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights

  • Previous mobile security experience preferred
